WE LOVE THIS SERIES AND ARE REALLY EXCITED ABOUT OUR THEME: HOMETOWNS! WE WILL SHARE ABOUT WHERE WE GREW UP, LESSONS WE LEARNED, FUNNY STORIES AND MORE. ALL WHILE SHARING A MEAL TOGETHER WITH DISHES AND DRINKS FROM EVERYONE’S HOMETOWN.

This dinner will be potluck!
We ask that every attendee bring a dish or drink that is from, inspired by or represents your hometown! This could mean anything from the french fries like your favorite local burger joint used to make, to a fun drink that brings back old memories, to cookies cut out in the shape of your state.
Keep in mind, a hometown is more than just a place, it can also be a person or thing! That means it includes all the people you grew up around, the colors of your school uniform, the smell of your grandma’s fresh baked banana bread, and the flowers that bloomed along that one highway every spring. There really is no limit to what you can bring to this dinner and we are excited to see what you choose!
As always, you can pick something up from the grocery store/your favorite restaurant or bake/cook something yourself! We’re not picky :)
If you’re not sure what to bring or are intimidated by the endless possibilities, let us know! We strive to make everyone to feel comfortable. So if cooking isn’t your thing but you still want to come, we can definitely help ya out! Everyone has a place at our table.

At The Lane is all about encouraging creativity and an important part of that is sharing the space to create! So if you want to calligraphy, photograph, video, decorate, create a playlist, design a menu, share a poem, play an instrument, make an art piece, etc. we would LOVE to have your talents on display! Shoot us your ideas when you RSVP. But please know there is absolutely NO pressure to bring anything other than your dish and your wonderful self!
